In light of the high volume of requests for services, your request will be handled in the order it has been received. The process of having a provider review and approve your requests is slower than usual due to the high volume.

Our goal is to provide feedback to your request within 5 to 7 business days of your request. We will acknowledge receipt of your application but ask that you give us 10 business days before making a follow-up phone call.

At Gregory Narron, MD & Associates, we bring over 20 years of experience devoted to thoughtful, thorough and up-to-date evaluations and treatment. Psychological issues are rooted in the Mind and the Body, and our approach is to look from both perspectives. We provide psychiatric and psychotherapeutic services to children, adolescents and adults. We assist and treat people – not symptom lists, diagnoses or rating scales. Our assessments are multi-faceted in perspective, looking at developmental maturity, using psychological theory and understanding neurobiological psychopharmacology. We routinely consult with your existing physicians and therapists, but we encourage you to start your care with us. Using a rich collaborative network in the greater Asheville area, we can develop the professional team to assist you in reaching your goals.

  • Gregory H. Narron, MD

    Dr. Narron believes that mental health is the key to true health. Though he began his medical training in general surgery, he ultimately decided upon psychiatry. Dr. Narron is trained in adult and child psychiatry. He finds that treating children and adults allows for a deeper developmental perspective about how symptoms present over a lifetime.

    Jason Fredericks is a nationally certified physician assistant specializing in Psychiatry. Jason obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology at UNCA and his Masters of Public Health at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. After working several years in Physical Rehabilitation, he went on to study medicine at Northern Arizona University in Phoenix, Arizona.

Before joining Gregory Narron, MD & Associations, Robbie worked with clients and families through Asheville Christian Counseling, Buncombe County Schools and Family Life and Learning Center in North Carolina.

    Jesse Gronback is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Licensed Clinical
    Social Worker (LCSW) who has been providing treatment in various roles and settings
    for the last 20 years. He has worked in wilderness therapy settings, in community
    mental health, in clinical supervision roles and as a private therapist, ultimately leading
    to his training as a nurse practitioner in order to provide the most thorough and holistic
    care possible.
